Meet Pam
ABOUT ME
I am a Zebra. This blog is about My life as a Zebra. Being a zebra means being a patient with a rare disease. My rare disease is CVID, or Common Variable Immune Deficiency. This is a form of a rare genetic disease that effects the immune system and are known as Primary Immune Deficiency Diseases or PIDDs. CVID gets is name from being the most common, or often occuring of the PIDDs and is variable due to the symptoms being varied from patient to patient. The diagnosis of CVID includes having a low IgG, (immunogobulin G level) and other factors.
Please note that I am not a doctor, but just a patient living with this disease. CVID effects my entire life. This blog is dedicated to talking about "my life as a zebra" and my other interests that help me deal with being a zebra.
